DWF Present: Carnival of Champions (Day One: "Only Happy When It Rains")

Introduction Featuring Sharlee Petersen:

The DWF Senior VP and DWF Legend Sharlee Petersen kicked off the show by commenting on Stardust and Papa Fly's two matches that made up DWF: Gym Wars 2000. He ruled that the title changes that took place in the second match was invalid and stripped both men of the title. He decided to put it up in a round robin tournament, with the DWF wrestler with the most wins getting the World Title!

Match One: Stardust vs Rocky Relentless:

The carnival kicked of in high impact fashion. Stardust connection with punches and a couple superkicks, while Rocky returned with his usual throws. Highlights included a chokeslam and swing of sanity (giant swing) by Rocky. Stardust had Rocky set for the Moonage Daydream, but landed it wrong which gave Rocky the power to kick out. With time running out (in this ten minute time limit match) Stardust hit a superkick as the clock hit zero.

Winner: Time Limit Draw, no points awarded.

DWF cameras then ventured to the streets, where Sharlee came across a bum?! The name of this bum turned out to be Tybolt Lemur, and he was hired to the DWF after telling Sharlee a story about how he had been thrown out of the house at age three for elbow dropping his mother. Sharlee announced his first match in the carnival was against Angel De Mourte.

Match Two: Tybolt Lemur vs Angel De Mourte (w/ The Young Dudes):

Angel got the jump on the new comer by using Vito "Big Pan" Lagrasso's frying pan (get it? big pan....it's a pun!). The advantage was short lived, as Tybolt got the pan and went to work on Angel. This match wasn't to long, with Tybolt hitting his finishing combo: The Touch of Death, an Austin like elbow, and then the Bum's Rush, and a running stunner (the goofy-ist move in the backyard) for the win!!

Winner: Tybolt Lemur, 5 Points

Rocky then cut a quick promo, linking Tybolt to the Brooklyn Brawler and the Warrior? This was the set up for the next match.

Match Three: Rocky Relentless vs Tybolt Lemur

This match was amazingly brutal and a great second match for both men in the carnival. Tybolt connected with a spear, and a DDT, which gained him a small advantage on Rocky. Rocky came back with a small powerbomb on Tybolt, but was then hit by Tybolt's version of the Dragon Suplex! Later on, Rocky attempted to use the slide as a base to jump from, but it tipped over, leaving Rocky to take shots from the frying pan Tybolt had taken from the Young Dudes. In the end though, Rocky hit another powerbomb and won his first match in the carnival.

Winner: Rocky Relentless, 5 points


Match Four: Tybolt Lemur vs Stardust

The heat and strain of wrestling three matches in a row was getting to the new comer, which led to this match being short. They started off exchanging blow until Stardust hit a superkick into Tybolt breastbone, laying him out. Tybolt then took Stardust's "fifteen dollar shirt" and waved it around in the hair, Stardust countered by taking Tybolt's "Will Wrestle For Food (Destroy You For Free)" sign and threatened to rip it up!!! Tybolt stopped him and went for the Bum's Rush, but was chucked into the picnic table, hit with the Moonage Daydream, and pinned.

Winner: Stardust, 5 points

Soilent Green then made a very brief appearance, saying he'd win and wouldn't have a problem wrestling the entire DWF roster in one day.

Match Five, DWF Chairs Match! Rocky Relentless vs Papa Fly

The other "Boy of Summer" made his long awaited appearance at the DWF Arena, angry that he had to go out on his Saturday night to wrestle.....and that they took his newly won DWF World Title (check Gym Wars 2000 for info on the title change). Rocky came out with a chair to add to the other one that was already in the ring, and the match was on. They started by locking up, which led to pF taking Rocky down and both men being hurt by the fall. The chairs came into play early with Rocky hitting Papa Fly several times. The Fly Guy came back kicking the chair into Rocky’s face. He then worked over the leg of Rocky. A few minutes later Rocky hit a DDT on the chair but failed to cover, allowing Papa Fly to hit the Lollipop for a two count!!!! Papa Fly did the move again onto a chair, and then hit the Open Fly for the win.

Winner: Papa Fly, 5 points

Match Six: Stardust vs Papa Fly

The Boyz of Summer EXPLODE! Not really, these two remained friends even after this match, which saw Papa Fly come out on top after the Open Fly.

Winner: Papa Fly, 5 points

Match Seven: Papa Fly vs Tybolt Lemur

Stardust and Papa Fly stayed in the ring after their match and ragged on the rest of DWF, Tybolt came out of nowhere, took out both of them, gave Papa Fly the “Bum’s Rush” and got the huge upset!!!!

Winner: Tybolt Lemur, 5 points
