Deadly Wrestling Federation: Gym Wars 2000

The last week of March, The DWF made history by doing two World Title match during school hours and gym class. With the track season well underway, DWF World Champion Stardust and long time rival Papa Fly continued their wars in two matches over the course of the week, ending with a World Title change that would rock the foundation of the DWF and set up the Carnival of Champions 2000.

Match One: Track Mats Match (DWF World Title)

Without a doubt, this match did best to display the high flying talents of Papa Fly (thanks to the large high jump mats) and test the self proclaimed "Most Talented, Gifted, and Knowledgeable Athelete in the Backyard Today". It was possibly the most quickly paced match they have ever had, and one of the more exiting. Due to the fact that no camera was present, details are sketch. Highlights include Papa Fly missing a Open Fly (SwAnToN Bomb!) onto the mats. Stardust came back and kicked PF off the mats, but missed a diving elbow onto the gym floor. Stardust later missed a leg drop, but eventually connected with the Moonage Daydream for the win

Match Two: “Wrestling Room” Match (DWF World Title)

This match took place in the wrestling room of the school, with not to much time given to the wrestlers. Stardust started off first, hitting a tornado DDT by running up the padded wall of the room and going though with the move. A few kicks took PF down, and the battled continued. Stardust went for a belly to back suplex, but Papa Fly kicked off the wall and hit a dropkick. A second attempt missed and then Stardust missed a dropkick to. Papa Fly then missed his summersault senton, and was hit with a stiff kick to the back. They exchange a few more moves, until PF slipped out of a Moonage Daydream attempt and hit the LollyPop for the TITLE WIN!!
