Oh boy,
it's been way to long, hasn't it? Some may wonder why this column has taken
nearly two months to update. Honestly, I've been less then inspired to write, an
recently anything I could write about I probably shouldn't. And any other topic
would be really boring. Anywho, here we go again.
-I found myself inspired to finally write after reading both Rob's last
Straightjacket and Adam's column that was post earlier today. Needless to
say, all of what was said is totally news to me and I hadn't even thought about
that at all. So i'm quite a state of shock, but more then overjoyed that Adam's
ok after reading the story recanted in his column. All I can really do is
echo Rob's words in his column, as they coincide with my own. I consider
Adam one of my better friends in backyard wrestling outside of the DWF, though
we only see each other about once a year, hell, we've only hung out twice.
But the two years of setting up our first match last summer was fun. Hell,
without Adam, i might not have gone heel in 99. But angles and such aside,
i'll take back every joke i made about Adam's infamous car and just wish my
friend the best of luck. Adam, get up to Oshkosh, and stay there for as long as
you humanly can. It couldn't be any better then getting up there, around
friends who honestly care for ya and around something you love doing. Best
wishes man, glad to know you're gonna be alright. And yeah, i owe you a couple
100 jobs, but you owe me the "firecracker" spot :)
-Congrats to James for finally getting the pF Title reign he deserved. Looking
back at the tape, the match with him came off a lot better then i thought it had
when wrestling it. If anything (and maybe this is an excuse) "The
psychology is there!" heh, no, it was a good solid really little guy vs
really damn huge guy match. Sorries to AJ for dropping him right on his head
during the Angel-Skulleosus match. Screwing up junk like that annoys me so much
it's not funny.
-DWF-wise, we're finally wrapping up our two latest shows "Snow Day"
and "My Bloody Valentine". Both shows turned out really great. Snow
Day saw highlights in the form of Lord Fairrington's elevation to upper
midcard vs Reckless, and JJ's mega heel pushing starting. My Bloody Valentine
was capped off with the formation of the Scandal 2K1, consisting of JJ, Snake
Fight, and myself. Yeah, we're rehashing the stable Rich, Ben and I did last
summer, but this seems to be working so far. Tomorrow is Only Happy When It
Rains 2001, which promises to be a good one to. There's a full preview up on the
DWF Page, there's your plug.
-I'll be back later this week, taking a look at CHM 2001, which is a week away.
Thanks for reading
