Taco Hell 2000 Preview
8/29/00
The smoke
has cleared from Monumental Terror, and the DWF finds itself witnessing the
dawning of a new era. This Monday, Labor Day, it begins.
The Madman Returns
Without question the main story of the DWF is the Madman returning, confronting,
and destroying Stardust in the last match of Monumental Terror. The image of
Madman dropping a face crushing elbow on the current Senior VP of the DWF still
stands in our minds. But why is the Madman back? Last time he was seen was when
he lost the DWF World Title to Papa Fly at Taco Hell 1999, since then the DWF
has grown bigger and bigger, has the Madman just been waiting until he thought
there was enough competition? And why Stardust, who became one of the main focus
point after Madman's departure? We here at DWF Online don't have a clue, but
we'll be watching Sept. 4th to see if the Madman appears again.
And oh yeah, Stardust's has seemed a bit paranoid during the last two weeks?
Will this effect his decision making with his new Senior VP role, having won it
from Tybolt at August Conflict?
Soilent's second reign, could it be a short one?
Thanks to a scandal, Soilent had the DWF World Title taken away from him has
Panic in Davenport. Now, after soundly defeating Rocky Relentless, Soilent looks
to make the second time around much longer then the first.
But it won't be easy, Stardust has booked a three way dance between himself,
Rich Reckless, and the "psycho four assassin" Rocky Relentless, with
the winner get a DWF Title Shot! Needless to say in the three way, Rich better
watch out, because Rocky now works for pSyChO Rob and Stardust has a hitman, so
Reckless is going to have some trouble. But what happens when Stardust and Rocky
get sick of beating up Rich? Will a shot at the World Title tear their
partnership apart?
Papa Fly vs.....um......a
We don't even know what to say about this one, Stardust has PROMISED he will get
back at Papa Fly for re-introducing the Madman at Monumental Terror. What could
Stardust have in store for his former "Boy of Summer"?
Not Alright! Not Great......He's Fabuloso!
The pF CW Title will be on the line as Stardust continues a series of defenses,
this next one against DWF rookie Lanka Fabuloso! This is Fabuloso's first match,
and he's thinking upset. We don't know what to expect from the young cruiserweight,
but whatever it is, it's sure to be Absolutely Fabulous!
The groin shot death match, made for backyard wrestling
Every backyarder knows, there's no better way to get the advantage then a groin
shot! Well, waaaaaaay back at Sweet Charity, Skulleosus and Tybolt Lemur
exchanged about 46343 shots before Tybolt won to advance in the QC Championship
tournament. Tybolt has been red hot despite losing the title of DWF Senior VP.
With wins over Angel, Papa Fly, Stardust, and recently Static of pF, can
anything stop everyone's favorite bum? Skulleosus, the DWF's hardcore, cane
swinging, skull faced monster, thinks a good cane shot the groin will. First
wrestler to get in 10 groin shots wins! Expect both to be singing a little
higher after this contest.
The Final Battle for the honor of a fictional character?!!
Let's say it right now: Trevor Gaze HATE the DWF roster! He thinks he's faster,
smarter, better looking, and cleaner (what?) then everyone else in Davenport,
IA. Just moments into his DWF career, the cocky glove wearing superstar voiced
the first DWF wrestler to really erk him: the anime, Oh My Goddess loving, Angel
of Death! Trevor has been more then vocal about his hatred for Angel's obsession
with Belldandy (the main Goddess in the comic book) and is doing everything in
his power to disgrace Belldandy. At Monumental Terror, Trevor set a picture of
Belldandy on FIRE! then defeated Angel for a second time in the two out of three
falls match. Was it over then?
HECK NO! Angel has told us here online that he won't stop until his
"Goddess of love and peace" is avenged. Angel has created a match and
challenged Trevor to it: The Belldandy Tower of Happiness Match! Angel will
place on of his Oh My Goddess comic on the ROOF of the DWF Arena. Both men will
then start backstage, with the object being to climb to the deck, up a ladder,
and get the comic. Angel says this is his match and there is no way Trevor will
win what is being called the Final Battle. Will Trevor come out on top and
deface the Goddesses again? or will Angel, with his "love" for a
fictional character, rise to face the challenge and protect his "Precious
Belldandy"
